Thomas Capizzi, Sr. founded Capizzi Home Improvement in 1976. Tom has over 40-years experience in theconstruction industry. Tom Capizzi, Sr. is a Massachussetts licensed construction supervisor, he holds an Osha Safety Training Card, and is a Certified Green Building Professional, a designation of the National Association of Homebuilders.
Tom Capizzi, Sr. has served on the Cape Cod Chapter of the National Association of Home Builders Board of Directors. He is a past president of the Cotuit/Santuit Business Association. He has served on the Cotuit Committee of Business Professionals charged with the study of the Cape Cod Commission.
Tom Capizzi, Sr. is currently serving on the Cape Cod Chapter of the National Association of Remodelers Industries Leadership Team and the Nari Green Team. Tom Capizzi, Sr. is and has been dedicated to serving the community through involvements with local youth programs and by supporting shelters for the homeless and families in need. He is also involved with the Cape’s Sustainable Living organizations, for which he has a great passion.

Maggie Kelly Office Manager
Maggie came to us in November of 2004 with a background in banking and timeshare management. Since that time, Maggie has gone from controller/bookkeeper to Office Manager.
Because of her “can do” attitude and great spirit Maggie was awarded the honor of Rookie Office Manager of the Year in 2006 from Certified Contractors Network® (CCN). Maggie has been nominated for Office Manager of the Year every year since 2008, winning Office Manger of the Year in 2009 and 2011.
Dana Ferrer Office Administrator
Dana came to us in June of 2004 with a background in English, education, and customer service and has a B.A. in English from Bridgewater State University.
The outstanding performance and service provided to us and our customers has resulted in her advancement from receptionist to administrative assistant to office administrator where she currently manages the front sales office.
Dana was honored with a Special Achievement Award for “Outstanding Service” in 2006 from Certified Contractors Network® (CCN) and has been nominated for Company MVP many times over the last few years.
Eileen Stanton Receptionist
Eileen is the first person our clients come in contact with to serve your appointment and estimate needs. Eileen has been with us since September of 2008. She comes to us with a background in hospitality and administration. She happily awaits your call!
Kristie Genao Finance Administrator
Kristie came to us in July 2009 with a strong background in bookkeeping and office management having previously worked in a land surveying and engineering firm from Nantucket.
Kristie relocated to the Cape a year ago. She is now in charge of accounts payable for our company. Kristie is also available for backup in any one of our administrative duties.
Tony Pola has been with us since 1993. During that time he has been a project consultant serving clients with home improvement and remodeling solutions. Prior to working at Capizzi Home Improvement, Tony worked in the trades primarily as a painter. Tony has won numerous sales awards and a special achievement award for accomplishing $12 million in career sales.
Tony has been honored as salesperson of the year twice by Certified Contractors Network® (CCN), once in 2004 and again in 2007, which is only achieved by meeting a stringent list of criteria, some of which are the following: demonstrates professionalism (prompt for appointments, professional appearance, etc.), participates in continuing education, possesses a positive attitude, is a team player, and demonstrates superior technical ability.

Aaron started with our company in September of 1997 as our truck driver and advanced to the position of project consultant in January of 2001.
Aaron has learned the construction business from the ground up. Jack Strumksi has been in the construction business for over thirty-five years. He has been employed by Capizzi Home Improvement since July of 2005, prior to that he was self-employed performing a wide variety of carpentry jobs. In his first year with Capizzi Home Improvement Jack was awarded Rookie Production Manager of the Year from Certified Contractors Network® (CCN) and has won several other awards since. Jack is a navy Seabee veteran and is certified to teach carpentry in Massachusetts. Jack holds an unrestricted construction supervisor’s license as well as a CertainTeed® Master Craftsman Vinyl Certificate and CertainTeed® Roofing Wizard Certificate. He has also completed OSHA safety training.
Gary Gustafson joined our team in March of 1998. Gary has over fifteen years experience in remodeling and new construction with over ten years as a licensed construction supervisor.
Gary has successfully completed blue collar management training, OSHA safety programs, various professional sales courses, and has participated in many construction networking conferences.
Gary leads the Capizzi Home Improvement remodeling division with enthusiasm and determination.Gary ensures that the production of each project runs smoothly and efficiently which contributes greatly to Capizzi Home Improvement’s success. Bob Ellsworth joined our team at the beginning of 2012 and manages projects for both our home improvement and remodel divisions.Bob has over twenty-five years in experience working in the construction industry here on Cape Cod. Prior to joining us at Capizzi Home Improvement, Bob ran his own successful general contracting business working primarily in the upper cape. Bob’s experience includes new construction as well as remodeling both residential and commercial structures from foundation to finish.Bob will ensure that the production of your project goes smoothly and efficiently.

Jean Bowden Production Assistant
Jean has been with our company since December 2010. She handles the permitting process, which includes being the liaison among different Town Hall departments on and off the Cape. She also assists with various projects around the office.
Jean has an extensive background in permitting, is the former owner of Sea Side Baby (her own retail store), and has worked as a Real Estate Broker since 1984.
Jean is also a volunteer parent advocate for children with special needs and has successfully lobbied to get regulations passed at the state level under the Massachusetts Department of Education and is currently working to pass regulations on a federal level. Jean is also involved with the Massachusetts Educational Surrogate Parent Program as a volunteer Member of Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled.
Andrew Hekking Warehouse Manager
Andy joined our company in October of 2005 with a background in transportation/maintenance. Andy “keeps it all together” here at Capizzi Home Improvement. Andrew is in charge of maintenance for our warehouse, office, and our supply yard. Andy also serves our customers with deliveries and various other support on a daily basis.
Mike Aceto Property Manager
Mike came to us with a background in residential real estate rentals. Mike manages our real estate and rental division serving the residents and property needs of our many Cape Cod homes and apartments.
