Capizzi Named “Contractor of the Year!”
Capizzi Home Improvement has earned the prestigious 2009 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Gold Award presented by the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (EM NARI). Capizzi Home Improvement received the award in the “Entire House Remodel” category.
The winning project was a remodel of a 1950s-era 1,408 sq. ft., three-bedroom, four-bath, summer cottage, which was transformed into a 3,079 sq. ft., four-bedroom, five-bath, beach home with multiple decks, a widow’s walk, 360° views, and new landscaping. To maintain its Cape Cod charm, the original Art Deco style bathrooms and pine paneling were retained.
The CotY Awards recognize exceptional remodeling projects completed over the past year. The entries are judged on functionality, problem solving, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and presentation. An impartial panel of judges composed of industry experts then selects the winners.
“It is a great honor to receive this award and to be recognized by our peers,” said Tom Capizzi Jr., president of Capizzi Home Improvement. “But it was only made possible by a total commitment to quality on the part of every person in our company.”
